plywood chair



this creation is based on the idea, when using plywood in the traditional way, ist materialzation never becomes apparent. the shape and the dimensioning have been reduced so far, as to optain from one single halfe square meter an astonishingly robust and comfortable chair, ready to be stacked. to meet the feature of the plywood, all layers are glued. no unnecessary screw is disturbing the material ethics. the seating surface and the back-rest are appropriate to ergonomics conditions; the parallel lines of the wood layers underline the anatomical shape perfectly. the chair as an object shows a pure and fine structure.
